I am Latosha Tate and I’m so glad that you made here. Well, in this section I’ll give you some insight about me and what I’m up to. I’ll share likes, dislikes, beliefs, and more. But, before I do, let me formally introduce myself.
In the beginning…
I was born on June 25th, 1979. I spent the majority of my childhood in Northeast Ohio. I have one older sister and spent a great deal of my time in organized activities like gymnastics and volleyball, and oh yeah I was a Brownie (little girl scout). I loved Cabbage Patch Kids, Baby Alive, and the Easy Bake Oven.
Wonder Years…
My middle and high school years were spent in the State of Delaware. My father worked for a large Tire & Rubber company and it forced us to move around a bit. He was a trainer in fact. I would often sit in as store managers and employees alike would come from all across the country to attend one of my fathers trainings. I remember helping set up the tables or sharpen pencils the night before a large session would begin.
After returning to Ohio my parents bought a family business where I learned so much about he “real world”. Now if you know anything about a “family business” it was exactly that. My parents bought a Goodyear Store. And like any family business it took the whole family to run like a well oiled machine. This was my first real experience with entrepreneurship, accounts payable, marketing, hiring… trust me, the list goes on, LOL. I have to admit this paved the road to BUSINESS for me.
My LOVE STORY…
I met my husband my senior year of high school. It’s funny because we always fight about who approached who that day, LOL. We began as friends but ended up making lots of memories together. From our senior prom, cotillion, and high school graduation, college to now parenting our three little ones. God has definately blessed our union. Thank You Jesus!
Education is Power…
There was no question about what I’d focus on when I went off to college. Business was IT! I went to college and got a Bachelors of Science in Business Finance. I immediately went on to get my MBA with a focus in Management & Labor Relations.
How I spend my time…
I’m one busy lady, LOL. We have 3 littles (6,3, and 8 months). When I’m not reading kids books or taking the kids to see Chuckie Cheese’s I’m networking like it’s no bodies business. I realize that beyond Christ, netowrking is the key to the world. I tend to attract very positive forward moving people. I love connecting with people who are ambitious and like minded.
I love traveling, siteseeing, and really being a tourist, LOL. I love to listen to music really loudly while cleaning or cooking, watching TLC’s What Not to Wear, and design shows like Little Space Big Style. I love the Apprentice and The Amazing Race. And the only sitcom that I find myself watching faithfully is ER. I love playing games like Catch Phrase, Mancala, and Monopoly. I also enjoy going to the theatre to see fun stuff (no horror) like anything by Tyler Perry, The Devil Wears Prada, Maid in Manhattan, and Pretty Woman is a classic.
